Welcome to the website for the 2009 Conference of the Public Policy Network.  We are delighted to be hosting the Conference at the Australian National University and look forward to two days of debate and discussion in the friendly and collegial atmosphere that has become a hallmark of the PPN.

The Public Policy Network is an informal network of Australian public policy scholars which meets annually to discuss public policy research and teaching. Our conferences are run as a single stream to facilitate discussion of issues across sessions and papers.  Our focus is on Australian policy issues and broader public policy research which can inform Australian policy practice.

The 2009 Conference is being hosted by the Australian National University on 29-30 January.  As agreed in Caloundra when we last met, the first day of the conference is being set aside for papers on the public policy implications of climate change.  Papers on any other public policy issue are welcome for the second day.
